The Adventure Learning Programme held on 1st August 2025 was a one-day trek to Harihara Beta designed to promote experiential learning, confidence, and teamwork among first-year students. After a morning safety briefing, students completed the ascent and explored the summit while reflecting on the physical and mental challenges of the trek. The descent and reflection session strengthened peer bonding, resilience, and environmental responsibility through eco-friendly practices.
B.Com students visited the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Bengaluru Unit for an educational exposure tour. Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Assistant General Manager, briefed them on the RBI’s history, core functions, and financial regulations, followed by a session on digital payments, the Digital Rupee, and financial inclusion. The visit provided valuable practical insights that strengthened their understanding of India’s financial system.
B.Com and BBA students visited Bilva Kraft Cartons LLP and IIM Bengaluru, gaining practical exposure to industry processes and campus culture. At Bilva Kraft, students observed the complete carton production cycle—from raw materials to customized outputs. The tour at IIM Bengaluru offered insights into opportunities, resources, and academic life. With 52 students participating, the visit successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world experience.
A total of 45 students visited HDFC Bank and gained insights into its various services and customer-focused operations. Students observed daily banking processes, including RTGS and NEFT transactions. The team also explained how the bank addresses customer needs with efficiency and trust. The visit offered valuable real-world learning on modern banking practices.
A group of 46 students visited the Chellotte Tea Factory, Wayanad, Kerala, gaining firsthand insights into the world of tea production. Students explored different types of tea leaves, understood preservation techniques, observed employee workflows, and learned about the company’s values and export procedures. The visit offered a practical and enriching learning experience, connecting classroom knowledge with real industrial operations.
