1. Examination Committee

Preamble

The Examination Committee of Arihant Institute of Commerce and Management conducts Internal Assessment Tests with adequate staff and infrastructure to handle all matters related to Internal Assessment Tests.

Objectives:

Internal Examinations are conducted to achieve the following:

  • Internal Assessment Test (C1) for Student Academic Assessment in the respective semester.
  • Basis for promotion to a higher class, grade, or level.
  • Confirm acquisition of knowledge, skill, and insight for certification.
  • Determine the extent of understanding of objectives, skills, and insights imparted by the teacher.
Assessment Types:
  • Pen-on-paper (POP)

Examination Committee Responsibilities:
  • Authorized to conduct examinations and make policy decisions.

2. Discipline Committee

Preamble

Discipline is essential for achievement. Education should instill moral and ethical values in students, ensuring professionalism in a safe and motivating atmosphere.

Objectives:
  • Address student-related problems and foster a healthy environment.
  • Raise awareness about discipline rules and enforce compliance.
  • Take disciplinary action against misconduct.

3. Anti-Ragging Committee

4. Cultural Committee

1. Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Preamble

The IQAC of AICM works towards attaining excellence in all academic and administrative endeavors of the institution. It ensures the effective implementation of quality initiatives through continuous reviews and periodic meetings.

  • To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of AICM towards academic excellence.

Objectives:

The primary objectives of IQAC at Arihant Institute of Commerce and Management are:

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
  • To ensure timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.

2. Research and Development Cell – Avinya

Preamble

The Research and Development Cell encourages a research culture through workshops, seminars, paper presentations, and publications. It supports faculty in UGC and other research projects.

Objectives:
  • To promote research activities and participation in conferences.
  • To publish research material and inform students of opportunities.
  • To conduct workshops on academic writing.

4. Human Rights Cell

5. Internal Complaints (Grievance) Cell

The Internal Complaints (Grievance) Cell is established to address and resolve grievances of students, faculty, and staff in a fair and transparent manner. It ensures a supportive and inclusive environment by providing a structured mechanism for individuals to voice their concerns and seek redressal while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.

  • To provide a platform for students and staff to express their grievances without fear of discrimination or retaliation.
  • To ensure timely, fair, and transparent resolution of complaints through a structured grievance redressal mechanism.

6. Student Counselling Cell

In today’s academic environment, the mental health and well-being of students are of paramount importance. With increasing academic pressures, students often face challenges that require proper guidance and support. The Student Counselling Cell at Arham Institute of Management is established to address these concerns. It focuses on mental health mentoring, allotting mentors, and providing psychological counseling to ensure the holistic development of students.

Objectives:
  • To foster a supportive environment that promotes mental well-being and emotional resilience among students.
  • To facilitate mentoring programs that provide academic, personal, and professional guidance.

7. Foreign Language Cell
